Join Wood Hat Spirits at LESA’s 12th Annual “Brew in the Lou” Festival fundraiser, a Big Blue Spark production. This years event offers one-stop tasting of St. Louis’s best beer, wine, spirits and food favorites when it returns to Francis Park, Saturday October 12, 2024, from 1-5 p.m. Nearly 100 tasting and vendor stations will line the banks of The Lily Pond, featuring local, regional and national craft breweries, distilleries and wineries. The 2nd Saturday of every month (Jun-Sept) Augusta Winery's Wine & Beer Garden will be open late to host sips from local distilleries and breweries, live music or other entertainment, local vendors to shop, featured cocktails, giveaways and more! 

These events are FREE to attend!
Bring your own food, order up a pizza to carryout from one of their sisters Balducci Vineyards or Montelle Winery, or they'll have a variety of snacks available to purchase along with wine, soft drinks, and cocktails.

Come celebrate with us as we honor our beloved Wood Hat Spirits founder/owner, Gary Hinegardner, for his 80th Birthday!!

Rain or Shine, come by the distillery anytime between 10AM-5PM. This is an open house event, so feel free to hang out for the day, or even stop by for a quick ‘hello,’ we would love to see you. ☺

There will be a special presentation, however, at 2PM; we recommend overlapping your visit around then, so as not to miss it!

COME HUNGRY. Bucky’s Food Truck will be on-site serving homestyle sandwiches + a booth for fresh popped Kettle-Corn (free with ticket)… mmmmm!!!

LIVE. Watch as JoHannes Michelsen, inventor of the wood turned hat, turns one right before your eyes! He will also have special ordering available- and a limited number of JoHannes’ miniature hats for sale.

TOUR. Open-House style distillery tours available throughout the day of the event.

TASTE. Tastings (including unreleased items) will be available directly out of barrels. Pick a barrel & take home cases of whiskey!

DISCOUNT. Empty seasoned barrels will be discounted down to only $100 & available for purchase.

The annual Missouri Bourbon Festival will be hosted this year by Copper Mule distillery in Hermann, MO. To purchase your ticket you will contact Copper Mule at 573-409-0007 or drop by prior to the event.  Limited tickets available.  The event is expected to sell out in advance.  No refunds or transfers. Your ticket includes tastings from Missouri distilleries in your complimentary Glencairn glass etched with festival logo. There will be a variety of distilleries from across the state (including Wood Hat Spirits!) offering tastings, drinks, and product for sale. The festival will host educational seminars, food, music, and games. One of our favorite events of the year; we look forward to celebrating 2024 with you!

A monthly event, held in their Wine & Beer Garden every 2nd Saturday June-September, Augusta Winery hosts a Saturday Sip night. Wood Hat Spirits will be a featured distillery for the month of July. The evening will include available sips of Wood Hat products, live music or other entertainment (all vendor lists are available through Augusta Winery), local vendors to shop, featured cocktails, giveaways and more! Snacks, wine, soft drinks & cocktails will also be available for purchase. The event itself is FREE to attend.

To celebrate the second anniversary of ABV Barrel Shop they are hosting a Mini Whiskey Festival that will include 14 different brands on-site pouring & interacting (COME SEE US!). You can reserve one of four different time slots to help keep crowding to a minimum & create a better experience. Bonus: your ticket will include a FREE Wee Glencairn! Join us for an afternoon of cigar education, cocktails and stooges by the fire. Colleen Murphy, certified tobacconist and owner of Hogshead Cigars in Hermann, MO will be presenting an educational experience on how to purchase, store and smoke cigars. After class we will put our new knowledge to practical use and sit outside and relax with a cocktail and cigar. Tickets are $55 and includes one cigar, two craft cocktails and light snacks.
